I am blessed to have been raised in a very entrepreneurial environment and from a very young age, my dad instilled in me the importance of setting goals. My brother and I were expected to write our goals every New Year for our dad to review. Fast forward to my adult years of running a business and raising my children, I felt I hadn’t the time or energy to think strategically about any area of my life. I was doing the best I could, juggling my personal and professional lives.

When I met my now fiancé, Andrew, we began considering what we wanted to achieve not only in the immediate future, but further ahead into our retirement years.

​

In late 2018 I hired Lee Armfield of Armfield Group as my business coach. Having been raised in a highly motivational environment, I have always envisioned long-term goals, but I found Lee to be tremendously helpful in putting structure around my goals. One of Lee’s first questions to me was “If you had a magic wand what would your life look like?” I remember walking out of his office that day feeling empowered in the knowledge that I had mapped out not only what I wanted my life to be, but how I would achieve it.
